Ministry to boost export of non traditional products

ACCRA, Ghana, April 30, 2016 (Daily Graphic) -- The Ministry of Trade and Industry is to introduce new export incentives to boost the export of non-traditional products.

The incentives, such as less tax or tax exemptions on locally produced goods, legal and regulatory allowances, are to encourage domestic companies to export local goods or services in order to keep domestic products competitive on the global market.

Food Export Opportunities in Russia Beckon to Tanzanians

DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania, April 27, 2016 (Tanzania Daily News) -- Tanzanians have been urged to grab opportunity of exporting agricultural products including horticulture, fruits and vegetables to Russia to fulfil growing food demand in the world's largest nation.

Tanzania Ambassador to Russia, Lieutenant General (rtd) Wyjones Kisamba, told reporters in Dar es Salaam that since Russia was facing seven months of snow, production of agricultural crops do not meet the demand.
